Stone Nest Dojo opened in April 2023 on 22 acres in Sewanee, Tennessee, on the Cumberland Plateau.

It is the home and teaching base of Richard Reishin Collins, Abbot of the American Zen Association. We offer zazen sittings and retreats in the tradition of Master Taisen Deshimaru, in a setting of forest, stone, and quiet.

If you have not yet attended an introduction to Zen practice, please write ahead before your first visit.
